Informative Video

The intended audience for this video was anyone interested in saving the environment but still need an efficient way of transportation. In the informative video below I used the green screen, overhead lighting and a teleprompter in order to come up with a two in a half min infomercial about Smart Cars. During the making of this presentation, I had to do several takes so that I can have enough videos to choose from. Before I could record myself I had to do some research on the product of smart cars. I then wrote and revised the script in a way that would be convincing to the viewer. I then set the lighting and positioned the camera where I needed it in order to have the correct frame for me and the graphics I was using. I used the teleprompter to read the presentation. In post-production I used Photoshop and cropped the pictures of the cars and other items I needed and saved them into .png files. In Final Cut Pro I took the best video that I've recorded of myself and added the .png files from Photoshop and edited them where they were needed according to script.
When making the informative video I had to use a green screen. Gratefully I was able to use the green screen where I work. I was able to set up the camera I needed and I recorded myself reading the script from the teleprompter.
This is a camera view of me using the green screen. When using the green screen, it made it where I had to take the green out in postproduction.
This is how it looked in Final Cut. (Note: Don't move files that were in Final Cut unless you want to reconnect them later. Yes I changed shirts as well) To make the completed process of the video above, I had one complete video recording of myself because I didn't want to have any jump cuts in the process. After pulling it into Final Cut I layered each picture I wanted to use such as the different cars and different eco friendly pictures.
